Boom Kat Dance Theatre is a collection of performing artists dedicated to telling stories through compelling and accessible dance-theatre. Guided by our belief in storytelling as a timeless expression of the human experience, the group uses movement
as a universal communication medium to create art that
both expresses and illuminates.
In crafting each production, the company draws upon elements from theatre, literature, music, and interactive media to expand the definition of dance in the pursuit of creating something smart, something honest, and something now. Every member of the company has a distinct voice – one that is powerful, and willing to be shared.
